Salads are one of the best meals that we can have. They are easy to prepare, cheap, and are made of ingredients that are beneficial for our health.

Eating salad is the ideal way to stay full but at the same time not gain any weight. Salads include fruits, vegetables and legumes, all of which are rich in vitamins and antioxidants essential for our body.

Almost all of the ingredients used for salads supply our body with the proper dose of water and fiber that our body needs. In this way, our digestive system will function properly and our body will stay hydrated.

  1. Citrus Salad

Needed Ingredients:

  • A medium sized peach
  • 200g pineapple
  • 700g of red cabbage
  • 3 tablespoons of freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons of freshly squeezed orange juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon of cumin
  • A tablespoon of olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons of Apple Cider Vinegar
  • Pepper


You should eliminate the center part of the cabbage. Cut it in quarter then into thin slices. Remove the peel of the pineapple and peach and cut them into small pieces. Add the ingredients in a bowl. Sprinkle apple cider vinegar and let it stand for 15 minutes to marinate. Mix the orange and lemon juice, and add the cumin and the oil. Then, add the water in it and stir for 1 minute. Add pepper and mix well. Then, you should rinse the cabbage or the carrots and add it in the first bowl with the pineapple and peach. In a large bowl, mix all the ingredients. That is it! Enjoy your salad.

  1. Cabbage and Cucumber detox salad

Needed Ingredients:

  • 3 tablespoons of soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons of the canola oil
  • 2 tablespoons of freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • A white onion
  • 400g of cucumber
  • 600g of green cabbage
  • Pepper


Wash the cabbage and peel the cucumber. Cut them in small pieces. Peel the onion and cut it as well. Put it in the bowl for your salad. In the meantime, in another cup, you should mix the soy sauce, the lemon juice, and the pepper. Pour this mixture over the ingredients in the bowl. If you don’t eat it immediately, you can refrigerate it.

One portion of the salad contains 72 calories.

  1. Apple, fennel and orange diuretic salad

Needed Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons of Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons of grapeseed oil
  • 2 teaspoons of mustard
  • 2 teaspoons of honey
  • An onion
  • 4 oranges
  • 3 apples
  • 1 fennel
  • A few sprigs of dill


Cut the fennel in small pieces. Peel the organs and try to separate them in segments. Peel the onion and cut it. Then, wash the apple. You should not peel it, only eliminate the seeds and the center of the fruit and cut it. In another cup, mix the honey, oil, vinegar with the mustard and season the mixture. In your salad bowl, mix the ingredients, except the dill which you will sprinkle over the salad once the other ingredients are mixed well.

  1. Carrot noodles to the nut

Needed Ingredients:

  • 4 tablespoons of sesame seeds
  • 4 shallots or onions
  • 400 g of carrots
  • 4 tablespoons of walnut oil
  • 4 tablespoons of balsamic vinegar
  • 4 tablespoons of Provencal (mix of parsley and chopped garlic)
  • Pepper
  • Salt


Chop the onions or the shallot. Peel the carrots, wash them and cut them into thin and long slices. You should put the vinegar and the walnut oil in a large bowl and season that mix. Then, add the shallots, sesame seeds, Provencal, and the carrots. Mix the salad with your hands. Consume it immediately!

  1. Tuna and Pasta salad

Needed Ingredients:

  • 1/2 tablespoon of mustard
  • A tablespoon of raspberry vinegar
  • A yellow pepper
  • 1 can of tuna
  • 250 g of Fucile pasta
  • A red pepper
  • A few basil leaves
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • Pepper
  • Salt


Boil the pasta and add a lot of salt. Then, cool the pasta faster by using cold water. Drain it and add it to a large salad bowl. Wash the peppers and eliminate their seeds. Cut them in a diamond shape and add them to the bowl. Wash the basil and cut and add it in the bowl. Eliminate the oil from the tuna, and add the tuna in the bowl. In another cup, you should mix the apple cider vinegar, oil and some mustard and add this to the salad. Use your hands to mix well.
